Everything Everywhere All At Once Deserves Every Award It Won, And Then Some.

Hey everybody! Long time no see. I took a little time off from my blog to work on some personal things. To be honest with you, another big reason for my absence was a lack of motivation. I’m sure you know how that can be. Writing is largely based on mood for me and for the past almost two years, nothing has really made me want to write. That’s not to say that I haven’t watched tv shows and movies during my absence that are worthy of writing about. But something (probably my own insecurities about my work) kept me at bay. But now I’m back! And I have one film to thank for inspiring me: Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020)

Last night yielded the devastating news that acclaimed actor Chadwick Boseman had passed away from stage IV colon cancer. It seems like since 2020 began we have been facing one tragedy after another, but I don’t want to look at Boseman’s death as another tragedy in the wake of this unrelenting year. I want to…

Some Thoughts I Had While Watching Hamilton.

Disney+ recently released a live recording of Lin Manuel-Miranda’s Broadway Hit Hamilton, and as someone who loves musicals but was not able to see the production on Broadway, I was extremely excited to see if Hamilton lived up to the hype it’s been generating since it was first released. Here are my thoughts. SPOILER ALERT….

Justice For: Jon Snow

In its final season, Game of Thrones saw a decline in many areas, one of the most obvious being the characters. More specifically, their characterization. Justice For: James Marsden

“Justice For” is a new series on E Watches TV, where I talk about a character that I feel deserved better than what they got. Today’s subject: The many characters of James Marsden! James Marsden is a pretty famous actor. Even if his name isn’t ringing any bells, you’d probably recognize his face immediately. Perhaps…

“A Goofy Movie“: Why it Still Stands Out 25 Years Later

From 1989-1999, Disney released what many would still consider their most critically acclaimed films. Millions of moviegoers dove under the sea with Ariel, watched as Simba took his rightful place as King, and surfed through the jungle with Tarzan. For 10 years, The House of Mouse couldn’t miss. And in 1995, they released a film…

E.’s List Of Loves She Loves!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope your day is filled with love, and if not love then chocolate, and if you don’t like chocolate… I don’t know what to tell you, my darling. In honor of Cupid’s busiest day of the year, I have compiled a list (in no particular order) of some of my favorite…

Marvel Monday!

I may not be Scorsese or Coppola but here’s my unsolicited opinion on their opinions on the MCU! In an interview about a week ago, Martin Scorsese was cited saying he did not consider the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the MCU, cinema. Uh oh. Of course, a lot of people were offended about this statement,…
